The Direct Path to Education as an Electronics Engineer
For product development of customer solutions with electronics/hardware, embedded software, wireless communication, and Internet of Things IoT Develco has employed Martin Häuser Petersen as a new Software Engineer in the development team.
No Sabbatical Year in the Education Process
After graduating from primary school in the 9th class Martin took a youth education in mathematics and programming at the technical high school HTX.
It was the right choice for Martin, who continued without a sabbatical year directly to Aarhus University at the study of Electronics Engineering. In January 2025, he graduated as a fully educated diploma engineer in Electronics.
During his engineering studies Martin has been both an intern and a student assistant at Develco. Martin has worked partly with limited parts of customer projects, partly with various smaller projects. Among other things research of Target Wake Time TWT and Low Power Feature in 6th Wi-Fi generation – improvement of internal Bill of Material BOM lists in connection with hardware development – demo of IoT solution with 2-way data transmission on various parameters via LTE.
Martin’s strong skills in electronics were the ticket to permanent employment as a Software Engineer at Develco.
Exciting challenges at Develco
“I am really happy to be at Develco. It is great to work in a smaller company, where I get the opportunity to try my hand at various interesting challenges as an Electronics Engineer. At Develco, I have also got on well with my colleagues, who like to enjoy a special beer or brew their own beers, just like I do in my spare time. When I am not brewing beer, I am working with my private electronics or playing disc golf and regular golf,” says Martin Häuser Petersen at Develco.
