From Physics to Electronics for Develco’s New R & D Software Engineer

The development company Develco is involved in many development projects for the customers and is expanding the development team of engineers with the employment of Søren Schaal as a new R&D Software Engineer.

Søren Schaal started his higher education with a bachelor’s degree in Nanoscience with main emphasis on the scientific subjects biology, physics and chemistry. Physics became the starting point for Søren to change his field of study, and in January 2022 he completed his diploma degree in Electronic Engineering from Aarhus University. Simultaneously with his studies, Søren has gained practical work experience from his student jobs. During the Nanoscience study, he worked at Nanoshow for 1½ years and participated in workshops with experiments and lectures for high school students and elementary school students from the oldest classes. As an engineering student in Electronics, Søren has been employed by the Student Academy and taught elementary school students from the first classes in programming of Lego Mind Storm robots. In his internship during the engineering studies, Søren has worked at Kamstrup with embedded software in the department Wireless Communication.

Develco gave me the impression of being a company having control of the business. And I have only been confirmed in that impression after my start as a R & D Software Engineer in Develco’s development team. I am looking very much forward to working responsibly with various technologies and development projects for Develco’s customers,”says Søren Schaal.
