Double relocation for Develco’s new hardware engineer

At Develco, we are busy with many different development projects with hardware, embedded software, and mechanics for our customers. Therefore, Develco has employed Kim Kjærgaard Kristiansen as a new hardware engineer for the skilled development team.

Kim has a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering as an Electronic Design Engineer from Aarhus University. Already during his engineering studies, Kim gained practical experience with hardware development of controls for street lighting at Amplex and industrial tracking devices at Trusted. For the past seven years, Kim has worked as a hardware engineer at LINAK at Als. Here he developed wireless technology with the communication protocol Bluetooth Low Energy BLE, lithium-ion battery packs, and general electronics for LINAK’s MEDLINE and CARELINE segments supplying linear actuators, controls, and batteries for applications in the hospital and care sector.

After seven years at LINAK, I wanted to try something new and get closer to my family. Therefore, my change of job to Develco became a double relocation, as I have simultaneously moved back to Central Jutland. The job at Develco is exciting, as I develop a wide range of versatile products, which perfectly fits my skills from the engineering studies and my work experience. I look forward to the interesting challenges at Develco, as I constantly want to learn something new and develop my technological skills as an engineer. In my spare time I am also busy with electronics and technology. When I need to refuel new energy, I ride my mountain bike in the beautiful nature in Central Jutland, if I am not occupied with my spare time job as a trainer in gymnastics for children“, says Kim Kjærgaard Kristiansen.
