The finished electronics products must meet your expectations from functionality, durability, and safety. In the process we are aware of high quality in our work, low production costs of the final developed products, and our co-operation agreement with you.
Approval of Electronic Products
An important element in the process is that your finished electronic solutions comply with applicable standards and requirements for your products in your industry. In our ecosystem we have contact with strategically selected partners who know the industry-specific directives for the approval of your new electronic products. Common to all electronic products is approval according to:
- Electromagnetic Compatibility EMC – product requirements for emission of electrical noise and immunity to disturbances
- Conformité Européenne CE – product requirements for safety, health, and environment in the EU
Various Standards
Different industries make different requirements for electronic products such as the Low Voltage Directive, the Machinery Directive, the Marine Equipment Directive, and the Automotive Directive. We help you with approval of your electronic products according to various applicable standards among others:
- Safety Integrity Level SIL 1, 2, 3 and 4 – the safety level of products varies from industry to industry – with SIL 1 as the basic safety level and SIL 4 as the highest safety standard
- Cybersecurity – common security measures in relation to cybersecurity and EU requirements:
- Network and Information System Directive 2/NIS2 – requirements for improved cybersecurity – has come into force as from 1st July 2025
- Cyber Resilience Act CRA – requirements for cybersecurity in hardware and software products with digital elements – expected to come into force as from 11th December 2027
- Radio Equipment Directive RED – product requirements for efficient use of radio frequencies in EU and EEA countries (equivalent American standard: Federal Communications Commision FCC)
- Electrostatic Discharge ESD – product requirements for discharge of static electricity
- Atmosphere Explosive ATEX – product requirements for use in a potentially explosive atmosphere
- Medical Device Regulation MDR – requirements for production, marketing, and sales of medical devices in the EU
- Underwriters Laboratories UL Certification – product requirements for minimization of fire risk and electric shock
ISO 9001:2015 Certification
We are certified in the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and are audited annually by DNV.
As a part of ISO 9001:2025 we regularly conduct external customer satisfaction surveys and internal evaluations. The quality management system is a common tool for all employees to support continuous improvement in quality, effective management, and focus on creating value for our customers.
In the approval of your electronics products, we always work with quality assurance based on the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
