ESG Initiatives
As a company we recognize and accept our social responsibility at Develco.
Within our ESG initiatives we have among other things elaborated a Corporate Social Responsibility CSR policy in which we commit ourselves to act responsibly in society. At Develco CSR is an integrated part of the day-to-day management. We pay attention to human rights, social conditions, working conditions, environment, and climate.
UN Global Compact
We follow the 10 principles issued by UN Global Compact, which is a global initiative established in 1999. At the same time, we require all subcontractors to live up to the 10 principles issued by UN Global Compact. The purpose of UN Global Compact is to involve private companies in solving the social and environmental challenges which the global world is facing. UN Global Compact is the world’s largest voluntary network for companies wishing to be involved in Corporate Social Responsibility CSR.
Communication on Progress
As a member of UN Global Compact, Develco once a year publishes a status report called Communication on Progress COP. The status report contains a CEO Statement of Continued Support to UN Global Compact and an answer to a digital questionnaire about Develco’s initiatives within:

- Environment
- Anti-Corruption
The 10 Principles
UN Global Compact has 10 basic principles of how a company can work with human rights, labor rights, environment, and anti-corruption. We use the principles as guidelines to handle social and environmental challenges.
Environment Policy
We help our customers with product development of energy-saving technology solutions with low power consumption, battery optimization, and a minimal standby consumption for the benefit of the environment.
As a Technology Development Partner, we develop product solutions according to the WEEE directive – Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment – ensuring collection and processing of used electrical and electronic products. We work according to professional rules and procedures for sorting and disposal of electrical and electronic waste and for increased recycling of products.
At the same time, we are an environmentally conscious company and work to reduce our environmental impact and resource consumption as much as possible. Our environmental awareness is reflected in the daily operations of the company and our choice of suppliers and co-operation partners.
