Data Transmission from Water Level Sensor via Interface Box to the Cloud
Measurement of Every Drip Everywhere in Real-Time
The company Dryp is a part of the Trifork Group and contributes to urban water management with their End-to-End IoT Solution providing real-time water insights. With DRYP’s solution for the water sector it is possible to measure the water levels everywhere and to monitor drainage, stormwater, and overflow.
Dryp enables a future where the entire water infrastructure can be monitored in real-time using a network of distributed wireless sensors. Dryp is a range of solutions that enable proactive and holistic decision making for the water infrastructure.

Wireless and Waterproof Interface Box
For Dryp Develco has been responsible for both the product development of the interface box for the water level sensor and the production management with the New Product Introduction NPI-process including box build, 0-series, and ongoing electronics production of the interface box in Denmark.
The interface of the water level sensor collects the water level data both through wired connection and wireless communication and transmits it on the Cloud solution for further analysis of the water infrastructure. As wireless communication the interface transmits the water level data via the two communication protocols – Bluetooth Low Energy to the water level sensor and LTE to the Cloud. The interface is optimized for low power consumption and is available in two battery versions, either a rechargeable battery or an exchangeable battery.
The application of the product is to function close to the water and is therefore built into a waterproof box. Even commisioning is activated via a magnet outside the box to ensure the integrity of the IP class of the interface box.

In the Box and in the Cloud
Dryp is an End-to-End IoT solution for distributed monitoring. Dryp provides quality controlled and ready-to-use data as a service. Dryp units are operated as nodes in a monitoring network together with high resolution rainfall data and your existing sensors.

Installation and Application
Dryp measurement units are designed for monitoring in urban drainage systems and natural waterways. The plug ‘n’ play installation takes 5-20 minutes. Each unit is self-configuring, and data is available online within a few minutes.
