New Strategic, Visionary, and Solution-oriented Chairman of the Board at Develco
In the board we have employed Jesper Steffen Hansen as our new external chairman of the board to set even sharper strategic goals and tactical plans for Develco.
Extensive and Wide Tele and Tech Experience at C-level in the Northern Countries
During the past +20 years Jesper has worked in various jobs at C-level with a focus on administration, sales, markets, networks, strategy etc. In the period from 2015 to 2020 Jesper was as a CEO among other things responsible for Telenor’s successful turnaround strategy, which cleaned up internal functions and optimized the value chain for the benefit of both the company and the customers. For Jesper it has been 20 challenging years with business and organizational changes at top management level.
Jesper is motivated to move companies from one place to a better place and generate greater productive changes in the companies he has worked for.
In his career Jesper has solved complex business challenges and developed organizations and people to exploit their full potential by elaborating the right strategy and plan to deliver on the biggest challenges and opportunities.
Grown Up in the SME Segment
Jesper started his career in the SME segment before ending up in the Telenor Group with more than 20,000 employees. After a long career with operational management positions he chose to check out of the hamster wheel in 2022 to devote himself to a new portfolio career.
Jesper wants to design his working life himself with various board positions, strategic consultancy, and interim tasks within business strategy and transformation. Jesper has extensive experience with board work and last year he completed an Executive board education at INSEAD Business School.
Board positions in the SME segment motivate and inspire Jesper, as the smaller companies are not far from idea to action and can quickly act at new decisions throughout the entire organization.
