From Idea to Finished Developed Electronics Product
Based on Develco Project Model for product development, we guide you safely through the development process from idea, analysis, concept, development, 0-series, and on to production. Our engineer team consists of specialists with competences within Hardware, Embedded Software, PCB layout, New Product Introduction NPI, and Project Management.
We are experts in development of electronic products with Hardware and Embedded Software, which have integration into both mechanics and product applications. We advise you on choice of technologies and develop Hardware design with layout of Printed Circuit Boards PCB internally in the engineer team.
For development of Embedded Software we often use the widespread open-source real-time operating system Zephyr, which, among other things, has many different functions, libraries, and tools for a wide range of microcontrollers from different manufacturers and processes for Cybersecurity.
In constructive collaboration with you, we ensure that the developed solutions meet your specifications and desired applications for the finished electronics products.
Product Maturation in the New Product Introduction NPI Process
For the necessary prototypes during electronics development, we have an in-house Essemtec Fox 1 machine for production of 1-50 pcs. prototypes as part of a development project. With the SMT assembly machine, we can shorten the development time significantly. In product development of your new electronics solutions, we take care of quality assurance with tests and approvals of electronics products based on applicable industry standards, CE marking, and Cybersecurity, which will be a part of the upcoming legal requirement for the Cyber Resilience Act CRA from December 11, 2027.
In the process of New Product Introduction NPI, the prototypes are as a gentle start-up for continuous volume production put into production start-up at selected external Electronic Manufacturing Services EMS partners. After a successful 0-series production, we take responsibility for production management of your ongoing electronics production and supplies of the finished electronics products.

After completion of development projects with electronics development, some of our customers lack resources for production management and knowledge about technologies and electronics production. At some time, the customers’ electronics products may become outdated and require changes in product design, new components to replace obsolete components, update of technologies, etc. Other customers have difficulty in keeping up with the ongoing electronics production and giving the necessary support to the strategically selected Electronic Manufacturing Services EMS partners.
As a part of our production management, we therefore offer you product management throughout the product life cycle of your electronics products and ongoing control of your electronics production at the EMS partners.
