Prototype Workshop
In the development process from idea to finished product we assemble prototypes during the development phase. The purpose of assembling prototypes is to verify that both hardware and embedded software fit together in the product design.
We build prototypes at our own workshop within 5-10 days depending on the delivery time on the printed circuit board PCB for the specific development project.
Production of Prototypes at Inhouse SMT Assembly Machine
Our assembly of prototypes is very flexible and exactly the same as in factories only in a scaled-down format with purchase of components in a lower number of pieces.
We have strong competences within electronics production and assemble prototypes at our in-house SMT assembly machine in the workshop. We handle the entire process with prototypes:
- Purchase of Components and Printed Circuit Boards PCB
- Pick and Place Assembly of a Lower Number of Prototypes Ranging from 1 to 50 Pieces at the SMT Assembly Machine
- Soldering in a Soldering Oven
- Software Download
- Board Bring-up and Test of Prototypes
Test Fixture
With a CNC cutter we build needle testing equipment to check that everything is working on the entire printed circuit board PCB. The fast and flexible production and testing of prototypes on test fixture constitutes an important phase in the process on to the finished design in Develco’s technological development projects.
