Diploma Engineer in Biotechnology
Nana is educated as a Diploma Engineer in Biotechnology from Aarhus University. An extensive engineering education ranging widely from a mixture of chemistry and biology combined with technology and process. Electronics is not strange to Nana. During her education as a biotechnology engineer, she had courses in electronics among other things about PLC controls.
Experience with Food and Processing Equipment for the Food Industry
In her bachelor’s project, Nana developed a Proof-of-Concept POC project with a horse beans-based beverage in collaboration with AU Food and Palsgaard. In addition, Nana has experience from GEA Group, which manufactures machines for the food industry. Here she has been an intern for six months and worked as a student assistant simultaneously with her engineering studies.
As a new graduated biotechnology engineer, Nana was employed permanently in a job as a Sales Engineer at GEA Group with sales of bioreactors. She worked with a sales concept with production and cultivation of New Food products such as proteins via microorganisms in bioreactors.

As a biotechnology engineer, I have deliberately chosen not to work with development. I prefer to work with sales, where I can talk to a lot of people and help them with their problems.
