Master’s Degree as an Electronics Engineer
At Aarhus University Lars first completed a diploma education as electronics engineer and subsequently a master’s degree in Technical IT. During the master’s education in Technical IT Lars learned a lot about digital signal processing with focus on sound and pictures. After graduating Lars has gained a lot of experience as an electronics engineer.
From Hearing Aids to Guitars and Basses
In his first job as a Technical Audiologist at Oticon Lars worked with specifications, tests, and documentation of fitting software for Oticon’s hearing aids. In the job Lars primarily worked with software and missed working with electronics and hardware. That changed in his next job as a Development Engineer at Danfoss, where Lars developed controls with electronics for frequency converters in the business area Danfoss Drives. After Danfoss Lars became a System Engineer at TC Electronic and gained experience with the development of analog and digital electronics in products for guitarists and bassists. In addition to his engineering tasks Lars was a product specialist with production of product videos, participation in trade fairs, and concept development of products. For Lars the job at TC Electronic was extra interesting, as he has previously participated in theater and musical performances and sings and plays guitar himsef in his spare time.
